Seedmatic Drills
Ideal for farmers who specialise in pasture farming. Will sow in all conditions, cultivated, no-till, handle trash, will sow all seeds. Low cost and simple to operate. 8'(2.4m), 10' (3m). 12 (3.6m) Linkage or trailed. 150mm 6" rows.
3 Opener options. Ground following flexible tine and wing blade Ni-hard, Tungsten, "Aitchison knock on/off" point. With or without Disc Coulter. Also available with Disc Openers.
Tine drills are supplied standard with 3 coil tine springs, Knock on/off Aitchison T boot points, 3 rank stagger, sponge seed feed mechanism, seedbox agitator and bin dividers, Farmscan hectameter and rear treadboard. The coulter bar features enclosed horizontal springing paired coulter disc assemblies and a 65mm square solid steel mount bar. Trailing kits feature rear wheel trail to allow drill to trail in tractor wheel tracks.
Seedking Professional
The seedking direct drill range is one of the worlds leading direct drill for contractors and heavy users.
Single disc openers are set at 7 degree castor and camber to allow for a better “cut and drive”. This method of direct seeding requires less horsepower, creates a nice firm seed bed and creates less compaction. A heavy cast iron press wheel follows the disc to close the slot.
Practical experience suggest that this method of sowing results in seed emergence of up to 50% faster than other systems.
The drills are available as gravity or air seeder models and up to 4 products (seed, fertilizer, small seed and granuals) can be sown in one pass.
Aitchison Seedking drills have the ability to transfer the drill weight forward, to increase penetration into hard soil conditions, and back to alleviate deeper than required penetration into softer soils using its unique electro-hydraulic depth control mechanism.
The Seedking range outperforms the traditional triple disc system as it requires less force and weight, creates an ideal seedbed and creates better soil to seed contact.

Self-transporting Roller Drill
Front folding frame transfers weight to the tractor (optional extendable drawbar)
Rubber mounted fully greaseable shaft roller bearings to reduce premature failure.
Heavy 75mm high tensile axle shaft with mid-axle bearing support on wider models.
Heavy duty frame supports the heavy rings which are deep V as standard. If preferred Cambridge rings can be supplied.
Belly chain which is connected when transporting to eliminate the bounce out of the axle and reduce load on the bearings.
Positive action hydraulic clutch requiring a minimum of maintenance. Large seedbox with the unique Aitchison sponge seed feed mechanism to sow all seed. Very accurate, infinitely variable gearbox allows for sowing rates as low as 1kg/ha and up to 350kg/ha (0.9lb/acre and up to 311lb/acre) with single lever operation. Coefficent of variation of +/- 5%.
Wind shield baffle skirts to within 150mm from the ground to assist with even spread of seed.
Ring scrapers are standard. They prevent mud/dirt build-up between rings and are essential if seeding in damp conditions.
Electronic hectare/acre meter is standard
Rear platform is standard.
Harrow hitch rails are standard.
